iContact Review
iContact was initially known as Intellicontact. It is an online marketing system that is remotely hosted. Because of the wide range of interfaces and diverse features available to choose from, iContact is hugely popular in the internet marketing world. Not only do they have 300 odd interfaces to choose from to customize one’s email template, but they also help track the delivery, failure to deliver or response to emails sent through the autoresponder feature of the program.
One of the most unique features of iContact is the Survey feature. It allows visitors to websites of the companies interested in advertising their product to leave their comments regarding the quality, viability and usefulness of the information available to gain knowledge regarding the product from. This enables the user to improve these features of marketing to receive better response from potential and existing customers of their business.
iContact allows the user to create emails based on HTML and WYSIWYG formats. Other than that it is possible to import websites from various servers into the program. This reflects how the website looks on the other servers and doesn’t require creating a newsletter from scratch by letting the branding of the website remain unchanged.
Most of the advanced features like the survey one are paid benefits received from other marketing services. The Image Hosting option provided by iContact enables the user to maintain 500kbs worth of images in the servers without having to hosting the same beyond the realms of this program.
The 300 email templates available to choose from only makes things easier for businesses who are looking to market their product online without spending too much time, energy and money on it. Autoresponders are important in online marketing activities as they take care of many small details which take time when done manually. The ability to track the emails and newsletters that have been sent, receive replies and queries from those who have subscribed for the newsletter and send replies to them via pre-set messages by the user makes iContact a very useful program in today’s world.
The idea behind sending newsletters and eBooks through autoresponders is to create a niche audience who has the highest probability of landing you a sale. By tracking the emails that are sent through auto responses by programs such as iContact, the opt-in list becomes more targeted so that resources and time are not wasted in corresponding with people who are not interested in your product.
If you have 1000 emails to send then you must divide the number in half and send one half on one evening and the remaining half the next morning to see one generated a higher response. This will help you choose your target better.
